Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Aral2x independently. Users under 18 years of age may only use the platform under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts responsibility for the minor's use and compliance with these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of Aral2x is lawful in your location. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization (such as a coaching center), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Access to some features requires an account through Supabase Auth, including email OTP sign-in and optional Google sign-in. You are responsible for:

• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Maintaining the security of your device, sign-in credentials, and email access.
• Keeping your account credentials confidential and not sharing them with any other person, including family members, classmates, or colleagues.
• Notifying us promptly at info@aralaral.ph if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or gain unfair advantage is prohibited.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, or interfere with security controls or other users' access.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract platform content — including questions, answer choices, and explanations — at scale or for commercial purposes, without prior written permission from Aral2x.
• Republish, resell, or redistribute platform content (questions, explanations, or study materials) in any form, whether modified or not, without prior written permission.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow any other person to access the platform through your account.
• Abuse practice systems, submit spam reports, flood the report queue, or submit malicious, false, or deliberately misleading input.
• Upload or submit content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including reproducing exam questions from official sources without authorization.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to degrade platform availability, game quiz scoring, or interfere with other users' experience.

The platform design, question sets, explanations, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Aral2x, unless stated otherwise. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use platform content for personal, non-commercial study purposes only.

User-submitted content:

• General feedback and suggestions: if you submit general feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant Aral2x a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that input to operate and improve the platform. You are not entitled to compensation for feedback incorporated into the platform.
• Question reports and suggested corrections:if you submit a question report with a suggested correction or explanation, you grant Aral2x the right to review, modify, and incorporate your suggestion into the platform's question bank. Aral2x is not obligated to use any suggestion. You warrant that your submission does not reproduce copyrighted material from third parties, including official exam content from the CSC or other bodies.

We work to maintain accurate and useful reviewer content, but platform content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information and may be updated at any time. Aral2x makes no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or current relevance of any question, explanation, or study material on the platform.

Use of Aral2x does not guarantee passing any exam, achieving any specific score, or meeting any employment or admission requirement. Exam formats and content are determined solely by official exam bodies and may change without notice.

Aral2x uses third-party services to operate, including Supabase (authentication and database), Google (optional sign-in), PostHog (analytics), and Sentry (error monitoring). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

The platform may include links to external websites or resources. Aral2x is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Links do not constitute an endorsement by Aral2x.

We may modify, pause, or discontinue parts of the platform at any time, including feature changes, content updates, and scheduled or unscheduled maintenance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance where practical.

Aral2x will not be liable for any delay, interruption, or failure in performance resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: infrastructure outages by third-party providers (such as Supabase or Vercel), natural disasters, power failures, government actions, typhoons, flooding, or other events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure events).

By Aral2x: We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms, threatens platform integrity, or creates legal or security risk. Where practical, we will give notice before suspension, except in cases of severe or repeated violations.

By you: You may stop using the platform at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, email info@aralaral.ph with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.” We will process your request within 15 business days, consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations under RA 10173.

Effect of termination: Upon termination (by either party), your right to access the platform ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, Aral2x disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Philippine consumer protection law (including RA 7394, the Consumer Act of the Philippines).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aral2x will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or opportunities, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the platform — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Notwithstanding the above, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes Aral2x's liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Philippine law.

In any event, Aral2x's total aggregate liability to you for claims arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to Aral2x in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or PHP 500 if no payment has been made.

Informal resolution first: before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at info@aralaral.ph and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most issues can be resolved quickly this way, and we are committed to responding in good faith.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Republic of the Philippines. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes — including changes that affect your rights, the scope of permitted use, or liability — we will notify registered users by email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. We will also update the “Last updated” date on this page.

For non-material changes (such as corrections to typos, clarifications, or changes required by law), updated Terms are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform after any Terms change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you should stop using the platform and may request account deletion per Section 9.
